History of curacao VR experience: Experience design for interaction
For an Experience Design for Interaction course, I co-created a VR experience set in 17th-century Curaçao where the user “time travels” to meet a local healer. Through an interactive experience where the user helps make a traditional remedy the healer guides the player while sharing stories about colonial persecution of the native Curaçao population and the targeting of healers who were accused of witchcraft. The project combines narrative-driven interaction with immersive worldbuilding to communicate historical injustice through embodied, participatory learning.
